The conference brings together researchers, policy makers, and practitioners to discuss the effects of climate extremes and promote interdisciplinary solutions for sustainability and climate adaptation.
The conference will take place in Uppsala on 9–11 March 2026. It will bring together researchers, policymakers and practitioners to discuss the effects of climate extremes and develop integrated approaches for addressing climate impacts and building a just, sustainable future. It is organised by the Swedish Centre for Impacts of Climate Extremes (climes) and co-organised with FutureMed, the Earth System Governance Project, and TRANSCEND.
The call for abstracts for the conference will be open from the 29th September 2025 to the 7th November 2025. For abstracts that fit the scope of the conference, the allocation of the limited seats available will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
