Congratulations! Mikael Höök appointed as new member of the Energy Development Board

The Energy Development Board decides how the Government's energy research appropriations are used for research, development and innovation.
- Energy is the key to sustainable development, and the right research is crucial. Especially in a changing world with complex security challenges. I look forward to contributing to good research in interaction with a strong business community for sustainable energy solutions and the The Energy Development Board provides a unique overview of the energy field, says Mikael Höök.
The Energy Development Board consists of the Director-General of the Swedish Energy Agency and ten other members. The following people are appointed as members of the Energy Development Board.

Facts
The Swedish Energy Agency shall have a decision-making board, the Energy Development Board. The board's task is to, within the authority's area of activity
- promote closer collaboration with industry on research, development and demonstration,
- deciding on government support for projects in accordance with the Ordinance (2008:761) on Government Support for Research and Development and Innovation in the Energy Sector, and
- decide on support for projects of the same type as referred to in 2 with universities, colleges or similar organisations as beneficiaries.
