Over 90,000 applicants for Uppsala University this autumn

Applications for the autumn semester have now been received. A total of 92,342 people have applied for a programme at Uppsala University, an increase of 3% compared with last year. The law programme and the Bachelor of Economics programme have the most applicants.

There is also a large increase in the Bachelor's programme in Earth Sciences, with a 57% increase for the studentsa coming from social sciences stream and a 33% increase for students with a background in natural sciences. The Master's programme in Sustainable Development has increased by 23% of applicants.
