Three PhD student positions and one post-doctoral position in biogeochemistry/microbial ecology

Three PhD student positions and one post-doctoral position are available in the field of biogeochemistry/microbial ecology in the Limnology program of the Department of Ecology and Genetics at Uppsala University (https://www.ieg.uu.se/limnology/ ).

We offer an international and collaborative research environment at the program of limnology which has a strong position in biogeochemistry, microbial ecology and community and population ecology. This project aims to understand how the stability of organic matter is controlled by environmental factors, microbial functional diversity, and the chemical diversity of organic matter across a wide range of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.

We are looking for highly motivated and talented candidates with a background in biogeochemistry and/or microbial ecology, and experience in one or several of the following fields: analytical chemistry, geochemistry, microbial ecology, limnology and marine ecology, soil science, ecosystem science.
