Interview about the effects relocations grants in Sweden
Jakob Molinder (Department of Economic History, UU) was interviewed by Sveriges radio and Dagens nyheter, January 2026.

The situation is now reversed – northern Sweden has the country’s lowest unemployment and is desperately looking for people to fill thousands of open positions. Voices are now being raised to reintroduce relocation grants.
