The Lindahl lectures: Macroeconomics research in practice: questions from advanced and emerging economies

The 2024 Lindahl lecture will be given by Professor Silvana Tenreyro (LSE) on October 16-18. Professor Tenreyro is a leading researcher within macroeconomics, in particular in monetary economics, international finance and growth. She is Director of CEPR International Macroeconomics and Finance Programme and a former External Member of the Monetary Policy Committee at the Bank of England and the former President of the European Economic Association.

The Lindahl lectures are a recurring event at the Department of Economics. Roughly every second year a leading international researcher is invited to give lectures within their topic of expertise during three days. The first lecture is aimed at broader audience, e.g. master students, and is open to the public. More information about these lectures will be made available during the summer.
