Helena Svaleryd appointed Professor in Economics
Helena Svaleryd started her position as Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics on 1 March.

Helena Svaleryd graduated from Stockholm University in 2002 and has since been employed as a researcher and subsequently Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Uppsala University. She has also worked as a researcher at the Research Institute for Industrial Economics and has been a member of the Fiscal Policy Council.
Helena Svaleryd's research interest is in the area of labor economics and related fields. On-going projects studies the determinants of child-well being, including health and educational outcomes. She is a guest professor at Linneus University and affiliated with Uppsala Center for Labour Studies (UCLS) and Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies (UCFS)
