Nobel Laureates in Economics lecture
The Nobel Laureates in Economics 2019 just visited Ekonomikum and gave an open lecture on the research that led to the award.
Abhijit Banerjee's lecture was mainly about the role of economics and economists in society entitled "Good Economics for Hard Times".
Esther Duflo's lecture, "Beyond Poor Economics", presented their joint research, where she generously shared what questions they were wrong about and what actually proved to be true.
