Mikael Elinder promoted to professor

On 4 March, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Uppsala University decided to promote Mikael Elinder to Professor of Economics.
Mikael Elinder earned his doctorate at Uppsala University and has been active as a lecturer and researcher at the department since 2011. He describes his research as applied, with interdisciplinary elements and a primarily empirical focus. His work has explored behaviours related to various areas, such as inheritance, charity, health, disasters, and voting.
