Within the framework of the PhD School School, Sport, Screen, four doctoral courses are offered, specifically tailored to the orientation of the PhD School and attended jointly by the PhD students of the School.

The course introduces the common themes of the research School and spans across all three research areas.

Contemporary Directions in Media Studies with an Educational Science Profile, 7.5 credits
The course explores contemporary media studies research with relevance to educational science, with a particular focus on its theoretical perspectives and methodological approaches.
Theme course 3
Sociology of Education, Traditions, 7.5 credits
The course provides a broad introduction to the sociology of education and related social scientific and humanistic traditions.
Theme course 4
Sports Science: Educational Perspectives, 7.5 credits
The course examines learning processes and value practices within the movement cultures of young people.
