The Department of Electrical Engineering hereby invite all interested to a docentship lecture in the subject Engineering Science with Specialisation in Science of Electricity.

The number of electric vehicles in society is increasing as are the needs for accessible charging infrastructure. There is a development to increase electrification in the aviation sector as well. At some airports there is interest in local electricity production, storage and charging of different types of electric vehicles. In addition, there is ongoing development and work to introduce electric aircraft for example to be used for few passengers and short distances. Ongoing research projects are analysing how electrification in the aviation sector can be developed, which is also the theme of this lecture.

The lecture is an obligatory teaching test for those applying for admittance as docent and it should be possible for students and others with basic academic education in the relevant field to follow it. The lecture lasts 40-45 minutes with subsequent discussion. The lecture will be given in Swedish.

Chairperson is Professor Jan Isberg and Representative of the Docentship Committee Professor Subhrakanti Dey.

Welcome!
