The Department of Electrical Engineering participates in University West's new research school

In order to meet society's need for electrification, University West (Högskolan Väst) is starting a new research school in electrical engineering in close collaboration with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Uppsala University and several major companies in the Swedish energy sector and automotive industry.

The research school starts in November 2024 and runs until 2030. Twelve doctoral students will be employed by the participating companies and the Department of Electrical Engineering at Uppsala University will contribute with supervisors and the doctoral students will be examined at the department.
