Uppsala University Research Theme with focus on food
The first 2024 issue of Uppsala University’s Research Themes has a focus on food, with several of the university’s researchers being interviewed.
Three of them represent the Department of Food Studies, Nutrition and Dietetics. Eva Warensjö Lemming, Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, talks about healthy diets with lower environmental impact, based on the new Nordic Nutrition Recommendations that she has participated in developing. Professor Paulina Nowicka, whose research is focused on childhood obesity, is interviewed about how parents can help their children maintaining a healthy weight, and Nicklas Neuman, Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, is interviewed about how social life can be affected for people living with persistent smell and taste dysfunctions after Covid-19.
