Representatives from the dietetics programs in Gothenburg, Umeå, and Uppsala met in Uppsala on October 17-18 to discuss current topics

Every one and a half years, representatives from the dietetics programs in Gothenburg, Umeå, and Uppsala meet to discuss current topics related to teaching in the dietetics program. On October 17-18, it was the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics’ turn to host this meeting. The program included discussions on the 2023 alumni survey, teaching in interprofessional learning, and research and teaching about nutritional products. A well-received segment was when Pernilla Sandvik introduced the group to the area of “Sensory Science in Dietetics,” where testing of oral nutritional supplements was conducted in the sensory lab at IKV. We are already looking forward to the next meeting in Umeå in the spring semester of 2026.
