On April 9th, the Gotland Game Hub and the Game Unit from the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI)welcome you to an exciting afternoon about strategic wargames, design, research and an intergalactic battle!
🔹 14:00 – FOI Talk & Q&A
Senior Researcher Johan Elg will share insights on how FOI uses games as strategic tools for decision-making, training, and simulations. Learn more about how FOI designs these games and explore their applied work and research on using games to prepare for societal crises and strengthen Sweden’s resilience and security.

Step into the ultimate Epic Strategy & Galactic Conflict as the Rebels and the Empire clash over planetary systems! Who will shape the future of the galaxy?
⚔️ Fight alongside Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker or join the dark side under the Emperor, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett in the shadow of the Death Star!
