Elin Bjarnegård and Pär Zetterberg new professors

At the Uppsala University Vice-Chancellor meeting on 31 January, Elin Bjarnegård and Pär Zetterberg were appointed professors at the Department of Government.
Elin Bjarnegård is Associate Professor in Political Science and Senior Lecturer in Development Studies at the Department of Government at Uppsala University in Sweden. She is also affiliated to the Department of Peace and Conflict Research. Dr. Bjarnegård’s research and teaching interests span the field of comparative politics with a particular focus on gender.

Pär Zetterberg is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Uppsala University. His main research interests lie in the area of comparative politics, with a focus on gender, and include issues such as candidate recruitment, political parties, political representation, electoral quotas, authoritarianism, political violence, and political behavior. His research is published in journals such as American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, and Journal of Politics.
