Uppsala University partner in the Horizon Europe-funded research project MEN4DEM

MEN4DEM (Masculinities for the Future of European Democracy) is an international research project involving researchers, artists and practitioners from 6 European countries.

Through the participation of Professor Elin Bjarnegård and PhD Malin Holm, Uppsala University contributes to this collaborative project, which brings together researchers, gender justice organizations, and performance artists to examine how ideas and practices of masculinity impact democracy in Europe. By co-creating knowledge and exploring visions of more inclusive masculinities, MEN4DEM aims to counter anti-democratic trends and support democratic resilience.
