Sten Widmalm receives UPS Education Award again

Every year, the student association UPS (Uppsala Political Science Students’ Association) awards a prize to the lecturer and/or seminar teacher who, in the students' opinion, has made an extra effort in their work during the year. This year, the prize has been awarded to Sten Widmalm - for the second time.
Sten Widmalm receives the award for the following reasons:
"For your outstanding efforts and genuine commitment to teaching. With a unique combination of intellect, humour and thoughtfulness, you create a warm and stimulating environment in your teaching. You explain complex political science concepts in a way that engages and inspires. Your teaching method is characterised by an inclusive and challenging environment where students' own perspectives are taken into account. Through your commitment, clear pedagogy and personal approach, you create meaningful teaching for future generations."
The award was presented to Sten at a banquet at Östgöta Nation on 22 May.
