Fulbright Grantee, to the Master's Programme in Political Science
This coming academic year, we welcome Stephen Blinder, a 2025-2026 U.S. Student Fulbright Grantee, to the Master's Programme in Political Science.
Stephen earned his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where, among other things, he received the 2025 Connecticut Alumni Medal, awarded by the Department of Government to the graduating student "whose record and performance are the most outstanding in the judgment of the faculty.”
At Uppsala University, Stephen will pursue his Fulbright project - entitled The Populist Dilemma: Democracy’s “Stockholm syndrome”? - under the supervision of Anthoula Malkopoulou.
Established in 1946, Fulbright is a highly selective program that aspires to foster mutual understanding between the U.S. and countries across the world.
