Katrin Uba is Associate Professor (docent) of Political Science, specialising in comparative politics. Her research focuses on social movements, mainly environmental and labour movements. In particular, she studies how protests and deliberative forms of political participation can impact political decision-making. She is also deputy Director of the PhD Program in Political Science and an Associate Editor of a journal Social Movement Studies.
