Abstract:
Maya Ström will present her first empirical chapter from her thesis Conflicting Landscapes: Contestations over land and environment in Scotland 1970-2005. The chapter takes the 1970s as its starting point and the debates over devolution, nature conservation and land reform that were pertinent to the decade.
