Three department projects/programmes are awarded grants from the Swedish Foundation for Humanities and Social Sciences (Riksbankens jubileumsfond):

Jenny Andersson, Professor and Visiting Researcher at the department: "Neoliberalism in the Nordics: Developing an Absent Theme"
Jakob Kihlberg, department PhD from December 2018: "Making a European People Visible: The Birth of Illustrated News in the 1840’s and Transnational Political Subjectivity"
Ylva Söderfeldt, Associate Senior Lecturer: "Organizing Illness: The Mobilization of Patients in 20th Century Medicine"

Annelie Drakman, department PhD from May 2018, is also awarded a grant for the project "Joy in Science – The Function of Positive Emotions in Autobiographies by Nobel Laureates in Physics". The project will be hosted by Stockholm University.
