Göran Gustafsson prize to Xiaonan Zhang
Xiaonan Zhang has been awarded Göran Gustafsson’s Large Prize for young researchers.
Xiaonan Zhang is a researcher in Tobias Sjöblom’s group at IGP where she studies whether genetic alterations in cancer cells can be exploited for developing new cancer treatment strategies.
The Göran Gustafsson Foundation is made up by two foundations with different objectives, where one issues prizes in medicine and engineering physics at Uppsala University and in engineering physics at KTH in Stockholm. Xiaonan Zhang has been awarded the large Göran Gustafsson prize for young researchers, which is a three-year grant of SEK 1.25 million.
