New grant for brain tumour research
Lene Uhrbom has been awarded a project grant of 1.6 M SEK over three years for a project on the severe brain tumour form glioblastoma.
The funded project is part of an international research consortium coordinated by the Swedish biotech company Oncopeptides. Their overall aim is to generate and profile novel peptide drug candidates targeting glioblastoma. The grant is awarded by Sweden´s Innovation Agency (Vinnova) and the Eurostars 3 programme, which is co-financed by EU’s research and innovation program Horizon Europe.
