Stem cells from IGP sent into space
Now there is only a couple of days left until Marcus Wendt is going to the International Space Station. Along on the trip he is bringing stem cells from Elena Kozlova’s research group.
The aim is to understand how stem cells are affected by microgravity, both in the short and long term, something which might contribute to their use for medical purposes.
