Verónica Rendo receives childhood cancer research position

Verónica Rendo has been awarded a grant from the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund for a position corresponding to 90 per cent of full-time, and funding for running costs of SEK 2 million. The grants will be used to study new ways of treating the brain cancer type diffuse midline glioma.

This year, the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund has awarded positions to 23 researchers at different career levels, from postdoctoral to senior researchers, for both pre-clinical and clinical research. Four researchers at Uppsala University have been granted funding the current call.
