IGP researchers appointed as UUniFI directors
Åsa Johansson and Sven Nelander have been appointed as directors for two of the six Uppsala University Future Institutes (UUniFI).

Under the UUniFI umbrella, five thematic research institutes have been established. Now, Åsa Johansson has been appointed as director of the research institute on Precision Health, and Sven Nelander will be director of the research institute on AI.
The themes for the other research institutes are conflicting objectives, migration and green energy transfer. The sixth institute builds on the activities conducted at the Centre for Integrated Research on Culture and Society (CIRCUS).
Earlier in the autumn 2025, Tobias Sjöblom, professor at IGP, was appointed as Head of Institute for UUniFI.
