About the Young Academy of Sweden
The Young Academy of Sweden is an independent, interdisciplinary academy for a selection of the most outstanding young researchers in Sweden. To become a member, one must be active as a researcher in Sweden and, as a rule, have obtained a PhD 2–10 years ago. The Academy is based on interdisciplinary collaboration, with members working together on issues that are important for both research and society at large.
The Young Academy of Sweden was founded in 2011 and has around 40 members elected for a five-year term.
