Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award to Ulf Landegren
Ulf Landegren, Björn Ekström and Jon Heimer have been selected as the first recipients of Uppsala University’s newly established innovation and entrepreneurship prize. They are all key figures behind the successful biotech company Olink Proteomics.
The Uppsala University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award was established in 2021 and aims to recognise individuals who have made a crucial contribution to the successful commercialisation or implementation of a discovery or innovation based on research or education at Uppsala University.
The citation for this year’s award includes “the first recipients of Uppsala University’s innovation and entrepreneurship prize act in the spirit of the University ‘for a better world’, thereby personifying the University as a force for innovation.”
The prize sum is SEK 500 000.
