Additional grants to IGP from the Swedish Research Council

Lars Forsberg, Caroline Gallant and Ulf Landegren have been awarded research grants in the field of natural and engineering sciences.

Lars Forsberg and Ulf Landgren are both awarded project grants. Lars Forsberg receives SEK 3.1 million for four years and Ulf Landgren is awarded a one-year grant of SEK 900 000.

Caroline Gallant receives a starting grant for young researchers, which amounts to SEK 3.1 million for four years. Her research aims to combine analyses of RNA and protein expression in single cells to study the cells’ identity, condition and gene regulation.

In total, 1682 applications for project and starting grants were sent to the Research Council in this year’s call in the field of natural and engineering sciences, out of which 325 were granted. For the whole period 2017–2021 in total more than one billion SEK has been granted.
