Fredrik Swartling receives the prize Flormanska Belöningen

The Royal Academy of Sciences has recently decided to award Fredrik Swartling the prize Flormanska Belöningen.

The prize Flormanska Belöningen is a financial contribution for a printed thesis in physiology or an anatomical topic. Fredrik Swartling is awarded the prize for 2016 with the motivation ‘for his internationally renowned research on mechanisms behind the development of childhood brain tumours, particularly his discoveries regarding the role of the MYCN gene’.
