Prize from the Childhood Diabetes Foundation to Oskar Skog
The Childhood Diabetes Foundation Johnny Ludvigsson prize for young researchers has been awarded Oskar Skog at IGP for his research on the etiology of type 1 diabetes.
Oskar Skog’s research aims to understand the mechanisms behind the development of type 1 diabetes, thereby providing the means to prevent the disease.
Johnny Ludvigsson’s prizes are awarded annually to researchers selected by the Scientific Council of the Childhood Diabetes Foundation together with previous prize winners. The prize for young researchers consists SEK 50 000 and a diploma. In connection with presentation of the prize, the winners should give a talk about their research.
