Thirteen IGP researchers receive grants from the Swedish Cancer Society

The Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding of in total SEK 75 million to 13 IGP researchers.

Lena Claesson-Welsh, Magnus Essand, Karin Forsberg Nilsson, Bengt Glimelius, Ingrid Glimelius, Ulf Gyllensten, Åsa Johansson, Ulf Landegren, Daniel Molin, Taija Mäkinen, Bo Stenerlöw and Gustav Ullenhag have been awarded three-year project grants of between SEK 1.2 and 7.5 million. Of these, Lena Claesson-Welsh, Magnus Essand, Bengt Glimelius and Taija Mäkinen have also been granted extra support of SEK 3 or 9 million.

In addition, Olivera Casar-Borota has been awarded the Swedish Cancer Society’s support for research months and Daniel Molin has received a three-year grant for a planning group of SEK 175 000 per year.

In this call for applications the Swedish Cancer Society has granted funding of in total SEK 670 million for research projects.
