How can HCI frameworks be translated as part of design processes?

As part of an ongoing project collaboration a seminar was held with Raphael Velt from the mixed reality lab at Nottingham University, a classic Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research team led by Tom Rodden and Steve Benford.

Raphael Velt, late stage PhD student at the University of Nottingham, researches in partnership with BBC Research and Development the use of "trajectories", a HCI conceptual framework, to support the design of media-centric experiences and has involved doing "Research through Design" with a local community driven music festival.

In this talk, Raphael Velt gave a brief overview of his doctoral research and discussed how HCI frameworks may be translated and/or used as part of design processes.

The seminar was held at the Department of Informatics and Media 26 September 2017.
