Riksbankens Jubileumsfond award support to IM students to attend Digital Humanities Oxford Summer School

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) will fund to two of the department's Information Systems students to attend the Digital Humanities Oxford Summer School (DHOxSS). Phub Namgay (1st year PhD student) and Soraya Hossain (incoming PhD student at Campus Gotland) have both been awarded places on a summer school in the digital humanities organised by the University of Oxford, supported by RJ. 

This year’s DHOxSS, to be held in July 2020, offers a range of training workshops in methods for digital humanities research such as linked data, data analysis, and text mining. Namgay and Soraya will both carry out research relating to FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) data and data science in the digital economy under the supervision of Dr. David Johnson.
