Welcome to a workshop with presentations, discussions and interactive sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss challenges and explore opportunities for co-operation between Tanzania and the Nordic countries in higher education.
The aim is to identify common challenges and opportunities in higher education and see how co-operation can benefit both parties.

Background: Nordic countries have several funding instruments to support student and faculty exchanges as well as research collaboration.
Tanzanian universities have outdated curricula that do not prepare students for working life, and research output is low.
Goals:
- Improve the employability of university students in Tanzania.
- Transform the University of Iringa with the help of Nordic universities.
- Create a co-learning process between the North and the South.
