CBA day brought together researchers from across Uppsala University

Last week, the Centre for Image Analysis (CBA) organised a successful day that brought together researchers from Uppsala University who work with images as research data and need, develop and / or use image analysis methods.

The aim of the day was to raise awareness of common interests and available resources, facilitate interactions and discuss possible collaborations and ways in which researchers can support each other. The CBA particularly aims to present different application areas and to attract participants from all UU disciplines.
The programme for the day combined short oral presentations, poster presentations, software demonstrations and thematic discussions - all with a focus on image data and image analysis.

The event was very successful and gathered around 80 participants. We look forward to continuing this tradition and to supporting the research community at Uppsala University in the best possible way.
