New chairman of the Swedish National Data Service (SND)
The University of Gothenburg has appointed a new chair of the SND steering group.
Hans Karlsson, Professor at the Department of Information Technology; Division of Computational Science, has been appointed by the University of Gothenburg as chairman of the steering group for the national research infrastructure Swedish National Data Service, SND (snd.se), with a focus on research data management.
His long experience of and commitment to open science and open data make him well suited for this task. The assignment extends from June 2024 and until 2026-12-31.
