Roman Iakymchuk receives funding for his project on energy-efficient software for future electric cars
Roman Iakymchuk, lecturer and associate professor at the Department of Information Technology; Division of Computational Sciences, receives funding from the "Verification for Collaboration" (VFS) for his project entitled "Energy Efficient Software for Future Electrified Cars".
The project is a collaboration with Volvo Cars and focuses on developing software to improve energy efficiency in electrified vehicles.
The VFS programme at Uppsala University aims to stimulate research collaborations between researchers and external partner organisations. Through financial support, the programme helps researchers to initiate and implement collaborative projects. For 2024, a total of SEK 800 000 has been allocated, where individual projects can claim up to SEK 300 000 in funding.
