Using artificial intelligence as a conversation partner has become increasingly common, especially among young people.

Elinore Olsson from Karlskrona shares that she occasionally turns to AI to process emotions and thoughts – despite also seeing a psychologist. "AI gives good answers, sometimes eerily similar to those you'd get from a human," she says.
Lux Miranda, a PhD student at the Department of Information Technology, researches the human relationship with AI. She believes the technology can fill a gap where society falls short.
The phenomenon raises questions about how AI is shaping the way we seek help and manage mental health.
