Preparatory work for the tramway affects taxi and bus stops, as well as footpaths and cycle paths at Building 10

During the period 3 March–15 April, the area around Building 10 will be affected by closures linked to the municipality’s preparatory works for the tramway. This means, among other things, that pre-booked buses and taxis cannot use the usual drop-off/pick-up area on the service road west of Building 10, and that pedestrian and cycle routes will be diverted.

Suggested handling of such transport is to arrange with the bus or taxi company to temporarily (during this period) pick up and drop off passengers on the eastern side of Building 10 instead, along Lägerhyddsvägen. Passengers using a pre-booked bus should be ready when the bus arrives to keep the stop as short as possible. The bus can then turn around at the junction leading to the former regimental area / Polacksbacken.

Traffic impact

  • The pedestrian and cycle path along Regementsvägen by Building 10 is closed. Traffic is diverted.
  • The vehicle entrance to the Ångström Laboratory from Regementsvägen is closed. The southern car park is accessed via the entrance at Röda villorna.
  • “Gula stigen” (the Yellow Path) remains closed since 26 January.

Additional impacts

  • Limited accessibility (entrances and parking spaces remain open).
  • Noise from machinery and transport.
  • Temporary changes to traffic flows.
