Digital parking permits introduced at Uppsala University -Paper parking permits will no longer be valid from 23 March
From 23 March, Akademiska Hus will switch to the new parking operator Smart Parkering. As part of this transition, the previous paper‑based parking permit will be replaced with a digital one.
What you need to do:
- Download the SmartPark app (which replaces AimoPark).
- Activate your digital parking permit in the app using the code UUPersonalvt26.
- This applies to the permit “Employee, Uppsala University”.
- The code is also required for the 30‑day ticket and monthly season ticket.
- The paper permit will no longer be valid from 23 March, regardless of the date printed on it.
- The same code and digital permit are also required to purchase a 30-day ticket and a monthly subscription.
- The code for employees will be changed every six months and can be found on your campus area’s staff pages.
There are no changes regarding which car parks require a special permit.
