Uniform to Work Day 2026

On Wednesday, 15 April, employees who serve in the Home Guard may wear their uniform at work.

Uniform to Work Day is held annually to raise awareness of the Swedish Armed Forces Home Guard. Home Guard soldiers who have the opportunity and who receive permission from their employer may wear their uniform in their civilian workplace.

Participation is voluntary, and permission must be sought from the employer.
