The seminar is open to current and past members of the Faculty of Law, students, and the interested public.
Martina Polasek is Deputy Secretary-General at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), which she joined in September 2001. Prior to joining ICSID, she worked as an attorney with the law firms of Jeantet & Associés in Paris, France and White & Case LLP in Prague, Czech Republic. She holds degrees from The George Washington University Law School (LL.M.), University of Paris V – René Descartes (D.E.S.S.) and University of Gothenburg (Master of Laws). She is admitted to practice law in Washington, D.C.
