COMPARATIVE TAX LAW METHODOLOGY

Uppsala, 3-4 September 2024

The Faculty of Law at Uppsala University invites doctoral candidates in tax law to a seminar on comparative tax law methodology. We will discuss comparative legal method(s) in general as well as in relation to tax law research (direct and indirect tax law). We will also discuss experiences of comparative tax law research in developing international tax law and EU tax law. During the seminar, there will be possibilities to discuss comparative tax law methodology in relation to your own research topic. Several prominent professors in comparative law and tax law will attend and join the discussions during the seminar.
