Yttrandefrihetens gränser – reflektioner från Justitiekanslerns utkikspunkt
This year's guest lecturer is Thomas Bull, Chancellor of Justice, former professor of constitutional law at Uppsala University and Justice of the Supreme Administrative Court.
Thomas Bull lectures on the topic: "Yttrandefrihetens gränser – reflektioner från Justitiekanslerns utkikspunkt" (The limits of freedom of expression – reflections from the perspective of the Chancellor of Justice).
2025 Forsskål Panel
The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion led by Anna-Sara Lind, Professor of Constitutional Law at Uppsala University.
The panel consists of:
Anni Carlsson, who received her doctorate in constitutional law in 2024 with a thesis on freedom of expression in social media. She now works at the Swedish Defence University and is engaged in research on public service and the interaction between law and new technologies, among other things.
Nils Funcke, Swedish journalist, author and debater on freedom of expression issues. He has been awarded the Grand Prize for Journalism and the Swedish Bar Association's Journalism Prize, and has written books on freedom of the press and the principle of public access to official records.
Ester Pollack, professor emerita of journalism at Stockholm University, has conducted research on source criticism and how the democratic system is threatened by disinformation and conspiracy theories.
