Oskar Mossberg and Erik Bengtson

Oskar Mossberg, researcher in civil law at the Department of Law, together with Erik Bengtson (researcher in rhetoric at the Department of Literature at UU and senior lecturer in the same subject at Södertörn University) releases the book The Virtues of Green Marketing: A Constructive Take on Corporate Rhetoric.

The book is a partial result of the interdisciplinary research project Environmental Commitments in the Energy System, funded by the Swedish Energy Agency. The legal and rhetorical research focuses on how we as a society can move away from a situation with widespread greenwashing and problematic corporate communication, towards a situation where better green marketing can contribute to climate change and sustainable development. This is also the theme of the book, which presents a theoretical framework for analysing and discussing green marketing, and examines how we can capture the constructive potential of corporate rhetoric.
