Sandra Friberg appointed by government as expert in committee
It has previously been announced that Gustaf Almkvist, among others, has been appointed as an expert in the major inquiry on the review of penalty scales and reform of the penalty system (Ju 2023:14). Now it is announced that Associate Professor of Civil Law Sandra Friberg has also been appointed as an expert in the same investigation.

A special investigator will review the penalty scales and reform the penalty system. The purpose of the assignment is, according to the directives, that the penalty scales should better reflect the seriousness of the offences and that the penalties imposed should appear reasonable and fair.
The special investigator is Petra Lundh, national police chief.
