Appointment as Judge Advocate in the Armed Forces

The Swedish Armed Forces has appointed Professor Daniel Stattin as Judge Advocate assigned to Boden Artillery Regement and Bergslagen Artillery Regement and as vice Judge Advocate assigned to the Air Combat School and Armed Forces Intelligence and Security Centre. A Judge Advocate is a part time legal advisor to the Commanding Officer of a military unit and is involved in eg. the administration of military justice.

Professor Stattin is a reserve officer serving with the Royal Swedish Artillery.
