At the Department of Literature at Uppsala University, Sweden, the group for Reading Research and Literary Subject Pedagogy brings together researchers and practitioners who take an interest in how imaginative literature is read by lay readers, for instance in a teaching context. This includes empirical reading studies based on questionnaires and interviews as well as research into the theory and practice of literary subject pedagogy. The Group is intended to function as a forum for discussion for researchers at the Department and other interested parties alike.
